Dale Andrews was born in Geneva N.Y. in 1965. One of 5 siblings with a large extended family, he enjoyed growing up with his cousins. When Dale started attending Waterloo High School, he met Karen Bates, a Waterloo native. It would be a few years before he would dance with her at the Senior Banquet, but from that moment forward, Pastor Dale was on a mission: he would get Karen to marry him. Dale and Karen graduated from Waterloo High School in 1983 and started dating shortly thereafter. Karen, a devoted Christian, struggled to commit her life to a non-believer and after a few months, she broke off their relationship. But that was without counting on Dale's determination. With what started as a way to an end, Dale had a real encounter with Christ and accepted Him as his Lord and Savior on Christmas day 1983. Dale and Karen would marry a few months later in September of 1984. By 1986, they began attending the Geneva Assembly of God. Dale, who had started to work early on, held several jobs in construction. He also served as a treasurer at Serven Volunteer Fire Company. In 1988, their daughter Starr was born. A few years later, in 1993, Dale and Karen would welcome their son Dallas. Over the course of many years, Dale served God first as Worship Leader, then as member on the Board of Trustees and assistant Pastor. In October of 2004, Dale was chosen by his peers to become Geneva Assembly of God's senior Pastor.
